Of Jalan Batai and BBQ Partays
Went to SoonK's BBQ party held at his house in Damansara today and it was fun =D. Shin didn't have class so he came over to Help and accompanied me for lunch and also waited for Chem class to be over in which after that we headed to SoonK's place. The journey to SoonK's place was absolutely hilarious.
Both of us flagged down a cab in front of KPD and I specifically told the cab driver that we are going to Jalan Batai. Then he asked whether it was some condo called SPG Towers and I don't know WHY that at the back of my brain, something was nagging me that SoonK does live at a condo. So I just nodded and told him "I think so," He was really puzzled and spoke in an irritated tone "Don't you know where your friend stays?! If not how are you going there?!" We just sat there silently and I was thinking to myself, isn't that's what addresses are for?? =.=" =.="
Anyway, we got off the cab at SPG Towers and realised that it was definitely NOT SoonK's house thus decided to call SoonK for help. As the tower is on the hill, we walked down the hill towards the mainroad until we noticed that the even numbers of the house plates were increasing downhill and SoonK's house is number 10. So we walked UPHILL again and returned to where we started and walked down the other side of the hill. When we reached the junction, we realised there was no shop named Hock Lee's or whatever AND so we called for help again.
Hahaha. And in the process of SoonK's heroic attempt to save us, we camwhored in the middle of JALAN BATAI. So typical right xD xD
SoonK's party was a blast =D =D We had beef,chicken meat,sausages and like squid for barbeque =D I love squidddddddd!! Hahah and in the midst of barbequeing and the guys were chasing each other around the garden, attempting to haul each other into the pool, we noticed that SoonK's place was swamped with BEES. Fat,black and yellow striped BEES. It was so funny!!! We moved into the living room and started swatting bees with the fly swatter. Hahahaha. The bees were EVERYWHERE. On the rug, randomly landing on people's head, on the sofa, on the table....well, basically everywhere. Hogged the tv for awhile and the guys started playing FIFA on PS2. Omg. They are just like little boys playing video games and it was so funny to watch =D =D.
All in all, it was a great night and kudos to SoonK who mananged to tolerate us in his house and swat all the bees flying about in his living room xD xD
